A new home without moving

Top designer Hans Kuijten subjected his own home to a thorough metamorphosis and created an atmosphere that perfectly suits him and his family. Warm, comfortable, luxurious and homely. A beautiful home to enjoy with the family and with friends and relatives. “We already lived here with great pleasure, but with the new interior it has become even more beautiful and enjoyable. No, we are definitely not leaving here for the time being”, says the owner of Studio Hans Kuijten.

For years, Hans and his team designed the most beautiful interiors of homes and commercial projects in a building next to his home. The growth of Studio Hans Kuijten made Hans look for a new place where he could combine living and working. However, things turned out differently, because Hans found the perfect work location in the heart of Nuenen. "And so we were able to continue living in what we considered to be the most beautiful place in the village," says Hans. ROBUST AND WARM

At the front of the house, the richly furnished living room exudes comfort and luxury. The sofa invites the whole family to enjoy a good film or series and the generous custom cabinet is a paragon of class. Multiple functions and materials have been incorporated into the unique design object, which is considered a major eye-catcher in the whole. In the adjacent dining room, Hans and his team combined beautiful wallpaper with mood-enhancing lighting and furniture from his own STRONG ONE collection. `The custom kitchen has a robust and warm appearance, with the mosaic back wall giving the design extra cachet.

NATURAL MATERIALS

Studio Hans Kuijten also created a rich and comfortable atmosphere on the first floor and in the attic, together with the specialists with whom he often works. The main eye-catcher is the bathroom on the first floor, in which atmospheric, natural materials merge together in a serene manner. “The interior really feels like a warm blanket,” says Hans, who indicates that the family also likes to stay under the canopy in the garden. “The skylight and the heat sources provide an extra experience and atmosphere there and ensure that we as a family can also enjoy eating outside in the colder months.”
