In this special feature, we put Hans Kuijten in the spotlight. Last year, we personally contacted this interior designer for an interview in our UW home design book. Hans is a master at sharing his passion for interior design, and above all, he is an incredibly enthusiastic and grateful person. A great guy who makes you curious about his next project, in which he wholeheartedly gives free rein to his boundless creativity.

Designs that come to life

Besides being a master storyteller, Hans is equally colorful in his designs. He designs interiors for private and hospitality projects or sets for large-scale events with equal enthusiasm. When he starts drawing, his clients' ideas come to life. Once colored in, dreams become reality.

Stylish and warm

Hans Kuijten's interior designs are stylish, warm, and inviting. His transformations are always tailored to the client. A project is only successful when the ultimate feeling of home has been achieved. Hans works with the finest materials and brands. He dedicates a great deal of time to finding the perfect mix and match of colors, patterns, and hard and soft materials.

"Staying within the lines has never been my strong suit. I like to be inspired by the world around me. This often leads to new ideas and new challenges. I truly enjoy unusual material combinations, but also seductive shapes and striking colors. However, the starting points of a design are always determined by the client. The client's wishes are paramount. It is up to me to then translate those wishes into a unique creation."

The Strong One

This year, a personal wish of Hans came to life, with his own distinctive signature. A creation full of character, strong and powerful. A striking chair that is an eye-catcher in any interior and surprises you with its seating comfort. Designing new furniture has whetted his appetite for more, and we are curious to see what creations will bear his logo in the future.
