After a long wait, we finally received news from London. Our restaurant design made it to the top 20 in our category. We are incredibly proud of the collaboration with all our suppliers who helped us with this project, especially our designer, Hans Kuijten. Thinking outside the box is a statement here. It would have been incredibly tough if we had to go to London in three weeks and tell them where Epen and Nuenen are located. Haha. We learned a lot from George Deswijzen Jr. about writing a bid book, in which the vision and strategy for every decision we made regarding furniture, lighting, décor, look, and feel had to be described time and again.
I waited for the jury report, but this is what I got yesterday:

Though our in-house team selected your project was very promising, the competition was very high this year and the judges selected other projects about yours.
We have feedback from the judges for winning projects.
