Enjoy a nice glass of wine and a snack at the bar with a friend, have a romantic dinner with your loved one, or buy a tasteful gift or various delicacies for a cozy evening at home: Gastrovino Girasole is a delicatessen, wine bar, and restaurant all in one. A place where love, craftsmanship, and enjoying life to the fullest are paramount. Studio Hans Kuijten was responsible for the interior design of the new establishment in Nuenen, Brabant, creating an atmospheric and inviting overall look.

The aroma of delicious food greets you as you step into this beautiful shop, and the beautifully presented cheeses, nuts, sausages, and other delicacies will make your mouth water. Not to mention the countless bottles of wine in the custom-made wooden cabinets.

At the heart of the project – a combination of two retail spaces – Hans Kuijten and his design team designed a beautiful, multifunctional custom-made object that serves, among other things, as a bar and display unit.

The green tiles add atmosphere and character to the overall design and their color creates a link to olive trees. From the bar, you have a view of the kitchen at the back of the restaurant, which features stylish wallpaper with a mosaic tile pattern.

While one side wall is a true haven for wine lovers, Hans situated the restaurant area on the other side of the establishment. The meters-long custom-made red bench combines beautifully with the wallpaper, and the artworks chosen by the owners provide an extra dimension to the experience.

And then there's the food to be served. Gastrovino Girasole offers an unforgettable overall experience and is the perfect place for bon vivants and gourmets. Cheers to life!
