THIS SUMMER, THE BEAUTIFUL AND LUXURIOUS PURE RESORT WARTH-ARLBERG OPENED IN THE AUSTRIAN SKI RESORT OF WARTH AM ARLBERG. THIS DREAM LOCATION, SITUATED DIRECTLY ON THE SLOPES, BOASTS 33 TASTEFULLY FURNISHED APARTMENTS, A LUXURIOUS WELLNESS AREA INCLUDING AN INFINITY POOL, A CENTRALLY LOCATED BAR AND RESTAURANT, A LOUNGE AREA, AND AN OUTDOOR BAR. DESIGNER HANS KUIJTEN WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INTERIOR DESIGN OF THE PUBLIC AREAS AND THE APARTMENTS. "WARM, MODERN AND LUXURIOUS, BUT OF COURSE, THE DEER HEADS ON THE WALL ARE ALSO PRESENT. AFTER ALL, WE ARE IN AUSTRIA." Maretti Lighting THEATRALE VERLICHTING “Our vision for lighting hospitality projects aligns with how designer Hans Kuijten approaches it. We both believe it's important to light the spaces theatrically. For example, having beams of light shining on the table, but keeping the area next to the table dark, so that guests feel a sense of intimacy while enjoying their meal and company. We also both appreciate stylishly illuminating artwork or other objects in the space,” says Marco van de Griend, Senior Account Manager at Maretti Lighting. He continues: “Maretti Lighting provided the lighting plan for the public areas of the luxury residence and provided on-site project management. The entire lighting system is controlled by a home automation system, allowing each spotlight to be controlled individually. In addition, all light sources are Dim to Warm versions. This means that when a light source is dimmed, the color of the light becomes warmer.” PURE Resort Warth-Arlberg was developed and built by Mountain Residences (see box) and is equipped with all modern conveniences, allowing guests to fully enjoy their well-deserved holiday. Worried about slippery surfaces or wet feet when arriving by car in the winter? The paving at the entrance is heated, ensuring you can safely and dryly enter the luxury resort. "But a large proportion of the guests come here to ski, of course, and I naturally take that into account when choosing the materials to be used. In a ski resort, you know that the interior can get wet – especially if the resort is directly adjacent to the slopes – so you choose materials that are water-resistant." In addition to the surroundings, Hans also takes into account the wishes of his clients when creating interiors for hospitality establishments, and critically examines the target group his client is aiming for, ultimately adding his own unique touch. Hans: "Despite the fact that these are custom-made interiors, you can see a clear line in my designs. I like to work with earthy tones. Natural materials such as wood or steel that I combine with a luxurious fabric or a glossy element. Together, this creates a warm, homely atmosphere. My goal is always for guests to feel at home in the café, restaurant, hotel, or any other establishment I design." A PAINTING AS A VIEW Warth, located between Lech (a popular destination for our Royal Family) and the German border, is guaranteed snow in the winter and is considered an ideal place to enjoy the beautiful nature during the other seasons. As a guest of this luxury resort, you have a wonderful view of this surroundings. The building, which houses the public areas, features many large glass windows on the ground floor. “When you look outside, you see a painting. A fairytale. Both in winter and summer. By using many natural materials in the interior, you feel a nice connection between inside and outside. The grey tones of the mountains and rocks are reflected in the floor and the fabrics used. And you can smell the wood, without the whole place having the appearance of a typical Austrian log cabin,” says Hans Kuijten, who has been making a name for himself for many years with appealing designs for hotels, wellness centers, restaurants and homes, among others. ONLY AS AN EYECATCHER The luxurious apartments, available in various sizes, are comfortably furnished and have an inviting and warm atmosphere. In these spaces too, the natural materials create a pleasant color palette and a connection to the natural surroundings. The beautifully located apartments are an ideal location for a carefree holiday with your partner, family, or group of friends, especially in combination with the exceptionally designed public spaces in the main building of PURE Resort Warth-Arlberg. The atmospheric lobby immediately provides a wonderful introduction to the luxurious accommodation. Hans Kuijten is also very enthusiastic about the relaxing wellness area, the lounge area with its eye-catching fireplace, the buffet area, and the luxurious bar in the middle of the restaurant. "The bar is the beating heart of the space, is covered in leather and also features wood, steel, and marble. In my opinion, it's one of the resort's eye-catchers," the creative craftsman concludes. De Jong Interieur ATMOSPHERE-ENHANCING FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES Stepping into the atmospheric showroom of De Jong Interieur in Eindhoven is like entering a chalet or hotel in Switzerland or Austria. The company displays numerous pieces of furniture and decorative items to enhance interior spaces and functions as a wholesaler, but also sells products to private customers. Robust tables, cabinets, furniture and accessories incorporating antlers, unique lighting, and animal hides give the showroom a stunning appearance.

Given its versatile and distinctive range of products, it's no surprise that De Jong Interieur was commissioned to furnish and decorate the PURE Resort Warth-Arlberg. Among other things, we see antler chandeliers and wall-mounted deer antlers in the resort's public areas. In addition to supplying these unique furniture pieces and accessories, De Jong Interieur is also frequently called upon to design and furnish the interiors of chalets and hotels. The company's service area covers the entire Alpine region. Smeulders Interieurgroep  INTERNATIONAL TOTAL PROJECT “The interior design of the various residences,” answers Henri van der Heijden of Smeulders Interieurgroep, when asked about the specialist in custom interior construction's responsibilities. “From the cabinets and kitchens to television units and headboards. Everything you see is made by us,” says the project manager, who describes it as a pleasant and international project. “The calculations and design, among other things, took place at our head office in Nuenen, the production at our facility in Poland, and the assembly was carried out by an Austrian company. The management and supervision of the entire process was handled by our people on site.” Completely in line with the clients' wishes, the interior design of the residences is warm and robust. “An Austrian look,” Henri explains. “For example, you'll find solid oak, wood veneer, and natural stone in the houses.” Every day, the approximately three hundred employees of Smeulders Interieurgroep create sustainable, high-quality, innovative, and distinctive interiors for national and international clients. Projects with a unique character, created by skilled craftsmen with a passion for their craft.

The Dutch company Mountain Residences develops and realizes luxurious apartments, chalets, and hotels in the Alps. The company redevelops existing hotels or builds entirely new so-called 'Aparthotels'. In these exclusive complexes, the space and luxury of an apartment are combined with the extensive facilities of a hotel, such as a restaurant, pool, and wellness. This concept is embodied in PURE Resorts, Mountain Residences' own hotel brand. Are you curious about the opportunities and investment possibilities? Then visit: www.mountain-residences.com.
