Studio Hans Kuijten gave the existing spacious home a new interior, perfectly suited to the dreams and lifestyle of the extended family. Thanks to the rigorous transformation, they can comfortably enjoy a movie together, or with friends, in the living room and celebrate life in the kitchen-diner.

The spacious entrance hall provides a warm welcome to the house, where the clients have lived for years. Studio Hans Kuijten chose atmospheric wallpaper for the staircase and a beautiful pendant light that connects the various floors. The black staircase adds character to the space, especially when combined with the stunning stained-glass window. Two doors lead to the living area, where we discover a glass shelving unit. This custom-made object serves as a room divider between the entrance and the living room.

WARMTH AND SECURITY

On the right side of the custom-built property, we find the spacious kitchen-diner, where marble, leather, wood, and taupe-colored spray paint create a delightful ambiance. The black appliances and faucet contrast beautifully with the color palette. The wood-framed seating area exudes ambiance and character, reminiscent of a luxurious Austrian Stube. Comfortable chairs from Studio Hans Kuijten's own collection enhance the ambiance of this delightful setting. Above the eye-catching island, Hans and his team also used wood—combined with leather—which contributes to the sense of security in the space. The family enjoys spending time there and entertaining friends and family.

In addition to the dining area mentioned above, Studio Hans Kuijten also designed a separate dining room, where we recognize a colorful Baroque style. In the living room, the aforementioned room divider, the spacious sofa, and the wall housing the television and fireplace are the focal points. The beautiful lighting, the colorful artwork, and the large windows contribute to the pleasant atmosphere.
